Apartment Community Manager – LIHTC / Section 42 Experience Required

Are you an experienced property management professional who thrives in affordable housing? AJ Employment Services is seeking a Community Manager with strong knowledge of LIHTC (Section 42) compliance to lead daily operations at a thriving affordable apartment community.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day property operations, financial performance, and resident relations
• Ensure full compliance with LIHTC (Section 42), Fair Housing, and all state housing regulations
• Supervise and motivate on-site leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff
• Review, approve, and submit compliance certifications and annual recertifications
• Manage rent collections, budgets, vendor contracts, and monthly reporting
• Coordinate inspections and audits with investors, syndicators, and housing authorities

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of apartment management experience
• LIHTC / Section 42 certification or verifiable experience required
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of Yardi, OneSite, or similar property-management software
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities

Schedule & Compensation
• Full-time, on-site
