Temporary Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) ALTCS/HMO Billing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

ALTCS/HMO Billing Specialist to provide short-term support for our Business

Office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ALTCS/AHCCCS,

HMO/Managed Care billing, and PointClickCare (PCC). This position requires the

ability to work independently, quickly adapt to existing processes, and ensure

accurate and timely billing, collections, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

 Process and submit ALTCS/AHCCCS, HMO/Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid.

 Work on past aging collections to assist business office to clear up workload.

 Utilize PointClickCare (PCC) to manage resident billing.

 Review resident accounts for billing accuracy and compliance.

 Investigate and resolve claim denials, billing discrepancies, and payment issues.

 Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts receivable.

 Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.

 Verify insurance eligibility, authorizations, and payer information.

 Work collaboratively with facility staff to obtain documentation necessary for

billing.

 Maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations.

 Provide support to the Business Office during staffing shortages, special projects,

or increased workload.

Qualifications

 Minimum of 2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing experience.

 Required experience with ALTC/AHCCCS and HMO/Managed Care billing.

 Proficiency in PointClickCare (PCC) billing and financial modules.

 Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement.

 Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and denial management.

 Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience working in Arizona skilled nursing facilities.

 Familiarity with AHCCCS/ALTCS regulations and billing requirements.

 Healthcare billing certification is a plus.

Schedule

 Temporary/Contract assignment

 Full-time or part-time based on business needs

 Immediate start preferred
