• Proactively contact customers with past-due accounts via phone, email, or mail in a respectful and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service while helping clients understand their account status and available payment options
• Collaborate with internal departments (billing, sales, customer support) to resolve account discrepancies and ensure accurate information
• Negotiate payment plans and follow up on commitments to ensure timely resolution

Collections Accounting Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Monitoring accounts receivable
• Documenting all collection efforts
• Generating reports, and handling customer service aspects of unpaid balances

Collections Accounting Clerk Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in collections, billing
• Customer service, or a related field
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Empathetic and patient approach to difficult conversations
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet performance goals

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
