- One year of clerical/administrative or customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience performing clerical job duties in a court-related environment
- Experience performing cash-handling duties
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
- Provide routine data entry functions on various databases
- Maintain records and files; sort and merge documents by type, year, and case numbers; prepare documents for scanning
- Prepare copies for delivery to internal and external agencies
- Receive records, releases, and maintain court exhibits, confidential items, transcripts, and depositions; request records and files from other departments
- Complete various reports; process various orders from the Court
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers, governmental agencies, and the general public and respond to public correspondence and requests
- Issue marriage licenses and passports; respond to telephone inquiries; perform research on various case files; certify, exemplify, and authenticate documents, etc.
- Distribute payments and release funds on hold; receive and process various payments made to the Court
- Requires long periods of sitting while completing manual clerical tasks and computer activities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and carry/push for a distance of 30 feet
- Travel may be required in and around Maricopa County
