Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details – Arizona Nursing Jobs

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 29, 2025 – December 29, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020-$2070
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (40 beds)
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Call Requirement: None scheduled (may flex up to 2 on-call shifts per contract as needed)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record: Medhost
• Scrub Color: Black (top and bottom)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona or compact state
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Telemetry experience and ability to manage a 6-patient ratio
• Ability to float to IMC and Emergency Department (ED) as needed
• Strong clinical skills, compassionate and positive attitude
• Preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry changes and patient conditions
• Care for patients with total joint, surgical, ACS, CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units (IMC, ED) as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using Medhost EHR
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (black scrubs, closed-toe shoes)
