Field Supervisor- Specimen Collection- 1524
Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
The Field Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the company’s field-based specimen collection operation, including staffing, training, compliance, and productivity, including the supervision of Lab Services staff covering a specific region. Ensures all Lab Services staff provide prompt, courteous, and reliable service to clients, patients, and colleagues.

- Recruit, hire, manage, and develop field-based Lab Services staff to meet the needs of the company, customers, and patients in accordance with defined standards and practices.
- Manage daily operational hours (scheduled vs. actual) of Lab Service staff and coach or issue corrective action for any identified timekeeping or attendance concerns.
- Ensure there is adequate Lab Services staff coverage to support the needs of the customer for scheduled and unscheduled absences.
- Conduct ongoing employee performance and behavior assessments and deliver appropriate training, retraining, coaching, check-ins, preventive and corrective actions, and terminations.
- Ensure adherence to all compliance guidelines, company policy and procedures, managing corrective action as needed, in partnership with Leadership and Human Resources.
- Create and organize Lab Services workflows to comply with all compliance guidelines and company policies, ensuring employees understand their duties and permitted scope of work.
- Maintain all compliance documentation and conduct quarterly audits to ensure consistency and adherence to compliance regulations.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and address customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve Lab Services staff retention, reduce turnover and improve morale of team.
- Provide coverage for specimen collection, as needed in practices when workers are absent.
- Regular and reliable attendance with dependable transportation is a requirement of this position.
- Driving between practices to provide coverage and occasional overnight coverage may be required.
- Oversee the team’s compliance documentation to maintain consistency and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Employees may be required to obtain credentials for their assigned practice(s, providing immunization records, receiving vaccines, completing CPR training, and fulfilling any other requirements set by the practice.
- Facilitate timely and effective actions to support the growth and development of LSA staff within MHU.
- Confirm that all LSA staff are properly trained and fully understand the significance of the workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service while acting as a representative of Millennium Health and serving as an intermediary between the practice /customer and the laboratory.
- Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and compliance policies, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
- Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cybersecurity controls are always adhered to.
Requirements
Education
- Associate’s degree in a related field highly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience supervising a team.
- Remote supervisor experience is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working in an operations or customer service role with an emphasis on compliance.

- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation with mileage.
- Understands the need for sensitivity, confidentiality and discretion while dealing with all aspects of patient care.

P otential Hiring Range:
- Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 /yr.
- Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
