We are a family and veteran-owned local retail firearms store looking to add customer service-oriented Sales Representatives to our dynamic team. We have great customers and we are looking for someone enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate about firearms.

Our operating hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm , Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm , and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm .

This is a full-time position. Hours could vary from 36 to 44 hours per week depending on demand and schedule. Must be flexible and willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting, purchasing, and handling firearms and related accessories.

2. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various firearms, ammunition, and safety protocols to guide customers effectively.

3. Utilize computer systems for inventory management, sales transactions, customer records, and firearm transfer records with a high level of proficiency.

4. Conduct NICS checks and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to firearm sales.

5. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring an inviting and safe environment for customers.

6. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and questions and provide expert advice on product selection and usage.

7. Uphold the store's commitment to excellence by paying meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of daily operations.

8. Assist in merchandising, restocking of shelves, and contributing to the overall visual appeal of the store.

9. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

2. Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with exceptional professionalism.

3. Computer proficiency, including experience with point-of-sale systems.

4. Understanding of firearm safety practices and relevant regulations.

5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain composure in a fast-paced retail environment, while providing excellent customer service.

6. Attention to detail and commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer service.

7. Previous experience in customer service or retail role is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
