Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
• Valid K-12 Special Education Certificate.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience serving students with emotional disabilities and/or a variety of eligibility areas.
• Strong awareness of and sensitivity to at-risk populations, exceptional learners, students from diverse backgrounds, and those with limited English proficiency.
• Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing special services, conforming to all regulatory guidelines.
• Completion of Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, or willingness to attend targeted staff development programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions for students in a full-time traditional classroom.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP documents and special services activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are empowered to achieve their personal best.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure comprehensive support for each learner.
• Maintain meticulous records to meet federal, state, and district standards for special education compliance.

This contract opportunity spans the academic year from August 3 to May 21 and is strictly onsite, which means you'll be fully immersed in the school community, contributing directly to student success in real time.
