Sares Regis Group (SRG Residential) is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 144-unit residential apartment community in Tempe, Arizona.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and appearance of the property. This position performs routine maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and responds to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Maintain the property's appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, residential facilities repair, or general trades (100+ unit community experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, drywall/painting, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Tools: Must have basic hand tools and experience operating power tools safely.

• • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for on-call duties)

• Soft Skills: Great communication skills, strong work ethic, customer-service-oriented mindset, and a positive team attitude.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, and bending for extended periods.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
