PT Dishwasher PM
Scope of Position:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including cleaning dishes, utensils, equipment, and floors. This role ensures that kitchen operations run smoothly and that health and safety standards are met at all times.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up the dishwashing and pot sink stations, including filling the dish machine, checking chemical levels, and preparing flatware presoak.
Rinse, scrape, and wash dishes and flatware as dish racks are filled; return clean items to their designated storage areas.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors after each meal period and immediately clean up any spills.
Empty and sanitize trash containers regularly and when full.
Monitor water temperature and chemical levels throughout the shift; change water at designated intervals.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including hoods, filters, steam tables, carts, ovens, and grills.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the storeroom and kitchen prep areas.
Report any malfunctioning equipment or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, following up to ensure satisfaction when appropriate.
Maintain a professional appearance and comply with company grooming and uniform standards.
Adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures.
Physical & Cognitive Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequent lifting, carrying, or handling of items weighing 5–25 pounds.
Regular exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
Must have the ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals appropriately.
Basic communication skills are required to receive instructions and report issues effectively.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced kitchen setting with varying noise levels, heat, and humidity.
Requires collaboration with kitchen team members to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
