We are proud of our 18,000+ successful placements with quality-oriented organizations that recognize the value of better talent. **Compensation and Schedule for the Physician Insurance Collector** Physician Insurance Collector - Full-time, remote, $22-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm OR 7:30am to 4:00pm after training. Join a friendly and fast-paced environment with great benefits! **Required Qualifications of the Physician Insurance Collector** - 2+ years of recent medical collections experience required - CMS and 1500 claims experience required - High school diploma or GED required - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen **Responsibilities of the Physician Insurance Collector** - Work out of a work queue performing AR follow-up on insurance claims - Work unresolved claims daily to avoid lost or reduced collection of revenue - Approximately 40 claims worked per day, higher for straightforward AR resolution scenarios - Handle specific types of denials and file requests for reconsideration or appeals as dictated by the denial - Work all health plans from government to commercial plans for high dollar and high-volume clinics **About the Company** This well-known and successful healthcare system has remained a symbol of quality for nearly 40 years.
