Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking our new Accounting Manager to join the Axway team!

The Manager is responsible for team and 3 rd party coordination resulting in effective and timely completion of accounting activities monthly close financial statement reporting and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle accounting process for multiple entities including monthly close quarter and half year consolidated reporting and external auditor reviews.
• Ownership for Australian financial statements and coordination with other APAC locations.
• Assist in M&A activities including integration of processes and accounting.
• Support the business teams in financial matters and inquiries and analytics.
• Research and resolve issues as identified.
• Perform account variance analysis.
• Coordinate with outside tax insurance and accounting advisors in the Asia Pacific Region.
• Serve as a backup to other team members on an as-needed basis.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and responses to auditors.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned to team.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting finance (CPA preferred)
• 7 years previous accounting experience
• Effective communication skills with ability to influence across the organization
• Software industry knowledge
• Experience with general ledger accounting packages Workday preferable
• Physical presence required in the office on a hybrid schedule two days per week minimum
