Job Title : Design Quality Partner
Location : Oro Valley, AZ
Contractor Work Model : Onsite
Hours : Mon - Fri, 8:00-5:00pm. Hiring manager is open to allowing this position to work as few as 20 hours a week up to as many as 40 hours per week. There is no OT associated with this position.
Compensation : $50.00 - $56.00/hr
Type : Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Overview
Join our team as a Design Quality Partner and contribute to innovative projects in a regulated industry. This role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will support quality assurance, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SQP and stakeholders to ensure milestone deliverables are complete and appropriate for milestone readiness and achievement
• Review and approve milestone deliverables within development projects
• Represent Pre Market Quality in mQMS Communities of Practice (e.g., IRM/Change Control/module)
• Support internal and external audits
• Drive standardization of deliverables across projects and customer areas (templates, review processes, content)
• Ensure timely execution and quality management of design change requests, NCs, and CAPA
• Model behaviors that support new ways of working and a culture of continuous improvement
• Adopt Risk Enabler in decision-making processes
• Reduce complexity and promote continuous improvement with pragmatic solutions
• Embed and improve knowledge management within Pre Market Quality
• Ensure effective change management in Product Development Quality, R&D, and other functions
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Serve as a role model supporting agility, collaboration, and adaptability
• Drive decision-making and obtain commitment for implementation
• Support colleagues’ growth and development as a coach
• Inspire impact-focused thinking across the organization

Requirements

• Previous quality experience is required
• Previous quality experience in a regulated industry is preferred (e.g., in-vitro devices, medical devices, pharma)
• Candidates from unrelated fields in regulated industries will be considered
• Strong collaboration, communication, and desire for growth
• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience with a BS or 2 years with an MS
