Job Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions

• Verify and code invoices and expense reports

• Prepare and process payment batches

• Reconcile vendor statements and handle payment inquiries

• Assist with month-end closing procedures

• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

• Review and process employee expense reports

• Assist in preparation of financial reports and analyses

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles

• Participate in continuous improvement of accounts payable processes

• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed

Skills Required:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience

• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
