Key Responsibilities
· Draft, review, and prepare ready-to-file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
· Conduct legal research, background due diligence, and case analysis to support attorneys and internal stakeholders.
· Monitor case dockets and litigation milestones, tracking material developments relevant to 1787’s investments.
· Organize, analyze, and summarize discovery materials, reports, and records produced by clients or opposing counsel.
· Coordinate case logistics and communications between clients, attorneys, experts, and opposing parties.
· Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and case materials for depositions, hearings, and trials.
· File and manage court documents across jurisdictions, including trial courts, ADR, and appellate proceedings.
· Maintain and update internal databases, case management systems, and litigation calendars.

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Paralegal.
· ABA-approved paralegal certification with a focus on litigation preferred.
· Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management platforms.
· Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
· Team-oriented self-starter who delivers high-quality work with minimal supervision.
· Experience in UCC, bankruptcy, collections, or real estate law strongly preferred.
