You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of **Phoenix, AZ** or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. • *Required Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring boot and Microservices.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• At least 2 years of experience in Java hands on development.
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in Java 8, REST, Spring boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, various design patterns.
• Experience in agile, scrum, and/or test-driven development environment
• Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects.
• Experience in modern application architecture, practical experience with Microservices.
• Experience in cloud native applications development.
• Good knowledge of API design is a must.
• Experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD tools is required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A high degree of initiative and flexibility, high customer orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
