Material Handler - Mesa AZ

This position is a Monday- Friday shift. The hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. This position is primarily in our shipping department. There will be cross training in other areas of the warehouse at some point. The pay is $19.00 an hour.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies

Communicate with customer representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products

Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments

Ensure all shipments receive proper labeling and packaging to arrive safely

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Unload deliveries, sort, and stock receivables

Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately

Organize stock within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated locations

Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments

Qualifications/Skills:

Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock

Receiving and stocking

Packing and loading

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Able to work independently and within a team

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as some packages can be large

Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
