Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Appraisal Apprentice to join our specialized team. This role is designed for someone with drive, grit, and the willingness to learn directly from ownership. With a mix of base pay and commission, the earning potential is significant, and top performers can advance quickly into higher-level appraisal roles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform roof inspections, often 6–9 per day, including climbing on steep and hot roofs.
• Use Xactimate fluently to create accurate estimates and documentation.
• Conduct repair tests with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and adjusters.
• Support negotiations and close appraisals with professionalism and proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Physical ability to work outdoors on roofs in various conditions.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in Xactimate .
• Preferred:
  • Background in inspections, construction, or related fields.
  • Experience in roofing systems, roofing sales, or insurance claims.
