Adelante Healthcare is looking for Family Medicine Physicians to join our team who are passionate about providing care to the underserved communities in the metro Phoenix area. We were founded in 1979 when there was a need for healthcare for farm workers and migrants. Since that time, we have grown and now have 9 clinics throughout Maricopa County (Phoenix and surrounding areas), and are continuing to grow as the demands for quality healthcare continues. We provide Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dental and Behavioral Health.

Our Federally Qualified Health Centers provide care to a diverse patient population in a Patient Centered Medical Home model through multi-disciplinary care teams. We are Joint Commissioned Accredited and affiliated with local medical schools. We are currently growing and I would like to talk with you about a position with us.

The Pediatrician is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of the health problems and maintenance of the client s health by means of preventive care and health promotion. Will perform assignments which can vary from routine to exceptional in nature and are carried out with minimal guidance in accordance with clinic office practices and procedures. Will comply with organization and department policies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Graduate of an accredited medical school program
2. Completion of an accredited United States Pediatric Residency program
3. Board certified or board eligible
4. Valid Arizona medical license
5. Valid DEA certificate
6. Current BLS
7. Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques
8. Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public
9. Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills
10. Basic computer efficiency
11. Valid AZ driver s license
12. Commitment to the Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values
13. Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status
14. Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
15. Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
