Information Technology Project Manager Position Summary
The IT Project Manager serves as the primary client-facing leader for the implementation of mission-critical healthcare imaging and clinical workflow solutions. In this role, you will drive the successful delivery of PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition, Worklist Management, Enterprise Imaging, AI, and image archive initiatives, translating complex technical requirements into measurable outcomes that enhance clinician productivity, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.
You will lead projects from discovery and planning through deployment, go-live, and ongoing optimization, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. Success in this position requires a blend of technical expertise, healthcare industry knowledge, strong project leadership, and executive-level communication skills. As the face of our delivery organization, you will be accountable for project execution, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.
This is a hybrid position based in Scottsdale, Arizona, requiring in-office collaboration four days per week.

- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and resource schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams including infrastructure resources, PACS engineers, integration engineers, and clinical application specialists.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget with rigorous change control and transparent status reporting.
- Facilitate go/no-go decisions, cutover planning, and production readiness reviews for high-stakes go-lives.
Technical Collaboration
- Partner with IT resources to scope DICOM routing, HL7 integration, VNA architecture, and AI algorithm orchestration.
- Facilitate clinical workflow analysis sessions to capture requirements for worklist configuration, reporting turnaround, and role-based access.
- Coordinate third-party vendor activities including modality vendors, EHR/EMR teams, and AI algorithm providers.
- Support validation and testing activities, ensuring clinical acceptance criteria are met prior to go-live.
- Contribute to solution design reviews with a working understanding of interoperability standards and healthcare security requirements.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure all implementations adhere to HIPAA, HITECH, and applicable organizational security policies.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks related to uptime, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
