Software Engineer

Job Summary
Design, development, integration, and deployment of web and mobile applications. Employ a quality-first mindset to development tasks; collaborate with QA engineers to ensure that solutions are well tested. Improve reliability and scalability of the existing application. Support QA Engineers to ensure system quality, functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all application tiers. Position is fixed based in Chandler, AZ; however, telecommuting permitted 60% – 100%.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience as a web-based software developer or in a related occupation. Experience must include:

Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Using JavaScript
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS/CSS3
• Experience with responsive design
• Using and administration of Apache Tomcat web container under Linux
• Experience with Service Oriented Design and Architecture

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Experience with NoSQL or multi-value (PICK) databases
• Experience with LESS, SASS Javascript: AngularJS, Angular 2, Backbone, or Knockout

PrismHR is a fast-paced SaaS company which provides customers with a cloud-based payroll process software application. PrismHR also provides professional services including system implementation consulting, custom configurations, and training. Lastly, via the Company’s Marketplace platform customers and end users access other human resources and employee benefits applications from PrismHR’s Marketplace Partners.
