Position Title: Campus Maintenance Technician
Campus: Gilbert
Reports to: Gilbert Campus Lead Maintenance Tech
Status: FT (40 hrs), Non-exempt
- Maintenance and upkeep of church property using various tools and equipment
- Work with team to complete all facility related workflows and requests
- Manage and maintain all tools and equipment in a clean and organized fashion
- Participate in security when locking and arming/disarming Buildings
- Manage HVAC controls for facility and monitoring all units for proper operation
- Participate/assist in the set-up for church functions
- Involved in leading, preparing, and directing volunteer teams
- Participate in all required yearly equipment and safety tests
- May schedule and oversee independent contractors and vendors: HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, landscaping etc.
- Support other campus operations as necessary, to include traveling across the five locations
- Be flexible in schedule adjustments for the requirement of working up to 10 larger events and volunteer workdays (These will be scheduled with a minimum of 3 weeks notice and appropriate planning)
- All other duties as assigned by their leaders

This includes keeping things simple and understandable without using staff language or terminology that isnt clearly explained.
- Communicates effectively Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Collaborates Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Although there are different teams, we all work together to be one team.
- Strong work ethic, to include self-motivation and continual effort to make Central better
- Ability to have effective working relationships with people of varying skills and competencies
- Currently possess or able to obtain a valid Arizona Drivers License
- Experience conducting maintenance work, operating applicable tools, and following appropriate safety measures
- Detail oriented with ability to organize, prioritize, and follow systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multitask when appropriate to do so
- Excellent customer service skills with selfless, people first approach
- Awareness to identify and rectify facility related functional and visual concerns, including emphasis on cleanliness.
- Willingness to embrace dirty jobs, including cleaning and working safely with chemicals
- Must align with the vision, and values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing Central no harm.
- Financially support the vision of Central Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.
- Growing in your personal relationship with Christ, while developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the Church.
- Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian Church employees, defined by the Employee Handbook.
