Associate Veterinarian

Veterinarian Yuma, AZ

Our client is a full-service companion animal veterinary hospital offering surgical, medical, and dental care for dogs and cats in Yuma, Arizona (see more about the advantages of living in Yuma below). We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to work collaboratively with the hospital team members. Our ideal candidate will be confident and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Veterinarian will:

• perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
• assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
• maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
• Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.

The clinic features digital radiographs, including digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, chemotherapy, Ultra-sonic dental equipment, isoflurane anesthesia, a fully-equipped surgical suite with electrocautery, orthopedic surgery equipment, and AVIMark.

Qualifications:

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.

Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Arizona.

Compensation & Other Benefits:

Salary (Based on experience). Medical / Dental / Disability/ Dues and Memberships with CE allowance.
