Job Responsibilities:

· Process full-cycle payroll operations for 750+ employees across multiple states and company entities

· Responsible for payroll processing, employee maintenance, reporting, and related administrative tasks

· Maintain strong knowledge of California payroll laws, including wage and hour compliance, deductions, and reporting requirements

· Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

· Review and audit payroll data to ensure accurate earnings, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and direct deposit processing

· Prepare payroll reports and support month-end reconciliation activities while maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures

· Manage new hire payroll setup, employee changes, terminations, and other payroll-related updates with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

Requirements:

· Experience processing within multi-state (must have CA) and multi-entity environments

· Experience utilizing Paylocity

· Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
