Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Shift: 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays from June onwards.

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in guiding large slabs of natural and manufactured stone to viewing areas and shipping docks. We seek individuals with a positive attitude who are eager to learn and grow within our organization. You will be trained to operate a forklift, and physical fitness is required as lifting materials up to 75 pounds is part of the job. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with some basic customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Guide large slabs of stone to viewing and shipping areas.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Operate a forklift after receiving training.
• Interact with customers to assist with loading vehicles with tile products.
• Work in outdoor conditions and endure heat and adverse weather.
• Walk approximately 2 - 5 miles daily as part of job duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse, labor, or construction settings.
• Ability to operate a forklift, particularly LPG forklifts.
• Capability to stand and walk throughout the workday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift skills are advantageous.
• Experience with material handling is beneficial.

Work Environment

Experience working at a national distributor specializing in natural and manufactured stone, tile, and other solid surfaces. The warehouse operates from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays from June onwards. Enjoy a supportive environment with ample breaks, provided refreshments, and a casual dress code of steel-toed shoes, work jeans, and a plain t-shirt. The work involves a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, with a focus on physical activity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
