Accounting Clerk
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our amazing team at this one of a kind resort.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounts Receivable Specialist with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will handle communications with clients, manage accounts and assist with record maintenance. Success in this role requires excellent time management, computer skills, and understanding the basic principles of accounting.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Prepare assessments on activities to be reviewed ethically, ensuring timely and accurate billing procedures.
- Monitor client accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts upon request from clients or partners.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions.
- Report periodically on collection activities and financial status.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or experience is preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Marriott PMS system is a plus.
