Payroll Lead Specialist Full Time Days Position Summary

Working lead. Trains and mentors Payroll Clerk(s). Position performs tasks associated with Payroll processing - Position may process and check

timesheets and payroll data to ensure correct payment to employees. Processes and maintains accurate hospital payroll records in compliance with

hospital financial policies and procedures and state and federal regulatory agencies.

THE PAYROLL LEAD SPECIALIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM EDUCATION : High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Three years payroll experience required. Maintain current knowledge of trends and changes as they relate to payroll and

tax reporting. One year general accounting experience including account reconciliation. Computer spreadsheets and automated payroll systems

experience required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Five years payroll experience or equivalent other experience in a large, 3 shift automated environment preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : AZ Driver License in good standing.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to interact with management and staff to resolve payroll related issues. Ability to pay close attention to detail and work

under a minimum of supervision. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of payroll related information.
