POSITION SUMMARY
The Overnight Concierge is an important part of our brand and plays a dynamic role as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors during evening and overnight hours. This position provides front desk coverage and exceptional customer service by consistently being pleasant, attentive, and helpful to everyone who interacts with the community. The Overnight Concierge is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment after hours, ensuring residents and families feel supported at all times. This role is key in creating a positive and reliable experience within the senior living community by addressing inquiries, coordinating resident needs, and monitoring front desk operations overnight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide front desk coverage during overnight hours, ensuring a professional and reassuring presence.
- Answer a multi-line telephone, directing calls and inquiries as needed.
- Greet and assist families, residents, guests, and vendors with a welcoming attitude.
- Monitor access to the community and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Conduct routine checks to support the safety and security of the community.
- Assist residents with scheduling transportation, activities, or appointments as appropriate.
- Support management with administrative tasks, such as data entry, scheduling, and light clerical work.
- Order office supplies and maintain organized front desk systems.
- Address resident concerns or questions, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Complete work order requests promptly and accurately.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
- At least 6-12 months of previous customer service or front desk experience in a hotel, retirement community, or office setting is required.
- Working knowledge of various computer systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Patience and willingness to assist our residents, visitors, and team members.
- Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
