The Influencer Marketing team oversees the strategy and execution of paid and organic influencer campaigns to amplify digital marketing efforts across The Walt Disney Studios (and wider TWDC). Our Creative Strategy, Influencer Relations and Campaign Execution teams lead full-service, 360-marketing solutions partnering with relevant, brand safe influencers for various activations – custom content, premieres, experiential events, mailers, etc. Using industry best practices and innovative strategies, this team is tasked with developing and delivering engaging and impactful creator content at scale.

The Influencer Creative Strategy Manager is responsible for assisting and leading the development of creative communications, creator outreach and production support required to bring our creative strategy from conception to reality. As an essential part of the wider Influencer Marketing team, this person will support the Creative Strategy Team in translating our 360 Creator Programs and Creative Concepts into all necessary materials needed for pitching, outreach and production.

A seasoned creative storyteller with a strong eye for strategic detail and robust communication skills, this role is responsible for the implementation of our creative strategy production process: drafting pitch decks, researching insights, crafting compelling copy for production documents and managing creator outreach and workflows with internal and external partners for all theatrical and brand influencer campaigns. They will be plugged into the latest in entertainment, digital marketing, content and creator culture, with a constant pulse of the rapidly shifting landscape and an ability to dive deep into research to craft insights that set critical context to ensure cross-functional alignment with our strategy direction.

In addition to supporting the activation of influencer marketing campaigns, they will also be responsible, in collaboration with the Influencer Relations and Campaign Execution team, for staying updated on industry best practices across all creative, social media and digital platforms while following and adapting our campaign processes to drive increased awareness and engagement around all influencer activations.

*Please note that this role will require occasional early morning/late night working hours as well as travel, depending on team need*

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of Creative Strategy documents and research necessary for pitching and production.

  • Manage and assist with creator outreach and list building across multiple projects.

  • Develop and fine-tune Creative Strategy process and manage cross functional team planning to optimize and execute both internal and external partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an influencer marketing role and/or similar function leading high-priority Brand projects with multiple key stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of the content creator, digital marketing and creative space.

  • Strong creative production background, ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials.

  • Work autonomously with creative tools in developing pitch decks and storyboards.

  • Background in media and brands as well as shepherding large scale, cross-channel influencer and/or digital marketing campaigns and working with creator talent.

  • Experience working with highly matrixed marketing organizations.

  • Demonstrated analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive self-starter, communicator, strategist and detailed creative.

  • Fluent in digital media, talent/artist relations, public relations, and marketing.

  • Experience with and knowledge of short and long-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle scope and resources to meet deadlines consistently.

  • Must be willing to travel and attend after-hour events, relationship-building meetings, and industry conferences.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant work experience.

The hiring range for this position in California is $105,100 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
