As a Project Manager in our Special Projects group, you’ll lead with confidence and collaborate with purpose. Responsibilities * Directing all on-site construction activities, subcontractor coordination, and workforce supervision * Championing health and safety practices, ensuring full compliance with HSE standards * Maintaining project alignment with design specifications, budget constraints, quality benchmarks, and schedule milestones * Identifying opportunities for field-level value engineering and workflow optimization * Monitoring and reporting on daily progress, safety incidents, cost impacts, and schedule adherence * Supporting subcontractor negotiations and managing major material deliveries and logistics * Leading project closeout efforts, punch list resolution, and final inspections * Collaborating with project managers and design teams to ensure buildability and quality assurance * Communicating proactively with trades, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain momentum * Mentoring less experienced professionals to build the next generation of project leadersQualifications * 5–10 years of progressive field construction experience, with proven leadership in site supervision. * A strong safety-first mindset and deep knowledge of HSE regulations and practices * Expertise in Civil construction methods, building codes, and technical specifications * Scheduling, planning, and time management skills. Including implementation of a 3-week lookahead schedule and participation in CPM Schedule development. * Ability to interpret cost and production reports to recognize trends in own forces work. * Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks while seizing opportunities for improvement * Strong interpersonal skills for managing crews, subcontractors, and client relationships * Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgement. * Basic computer skills (e.g., outlook, word, excel, bluebeam, etc) * A drive to lead, learn, and contribute to a high-performing team PCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
