Custodian Details:

• Temporary position
• $19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 07:00am to 05:00pm )

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; dust and clean surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to school guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting facility issues.
• Set up and break down furniture and equipment for school events and activities.
• Ensure all areas are secure by locking doors, setting alarms, and following safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, spills, or maintenance issues to maintain safety.
• Follow school policies and procedures for chemical use and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with school staff to support a positive and welcoming campus environment.

Custodian Qualifications:

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clarence Card prior to start date.
