RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12 hour shifts)
• Must work 6 weekend shifts during contract period
• Position includes multiple shift types: 1 twelve-hour charge shift, 2 eight-hour clinical coach shifts, and 1 eight-hour admin shift
• Clinical coach responsibilities include staff and patient rounding, resolving Pyxis discrepancies, addressing barriers to room assignments and staffing plans
• Support charge nurse with daily productivity management and address equipment/medical/supply issues
• Ensure sepsis workflow compliance and provide real-time coaching to staff
• Admin shift involves chart review and audits
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience on day shift preferred
• Work with 38-bed emergency department
• EMR system: Cerner
• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Facility is Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving center
• NIH certification recommended but not required
• Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
