We are a newly opened, fast-paced pet grooming shop looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, delivers consistent quality, and enjoys working in a supportive, positive environment.
We welcome full-time, part-time, and contractor (1099) groomers who meet our experience requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Perform full-service grooming for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types
Provide grooming services for cats and small animals as needed
Deliver high-quality grooms with strong scissoring, finishing, and breed-standard styling
Ensure all pets are handled safely, gently, and professionally
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming requests, coat conditions, and any concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace
Manage your grooming schedule efficiently to balance quality and productivity
Contribute to a positive team environment as our shop continues to grow
Provide a grooming portfolio as part of the application process
Compensation & Requirements:
50% commission on all grooming services
W-2 and 1099 options available (full-time, part-time, and contractor positions)
Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience
Strong comfort and control working with all breeds, including large dogs
Excellent scissoring and finishing skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Must be physically able to lift and handle large dogs safely
Grooming portfolio required
