Warehouse Associate I
Shift time: Monday - Friday 5 am - 3 pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate I to join a team in Phoenix. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, picking and verifying orders, and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and maintain forklift certification.
- Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
- Pick, verify, palletize, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Ensure accurate shipments by verifying quantities and products.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory as needed.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow hazardous materials and transportation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Review daily communications and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of forklift experience (sit down) in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Basic computer skills (Google Workspace or similar preferred).
- Familiarity with standard warehouse procedures and inventory practices.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, humidity, and other industrial conditions.
