We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Senior IT Support Specialist (Help Desk III) to support technology operations inside our fast-paced Distribution Center in Lithia Springs, GA. This is an onsite role supporting warehouse, supply chain, and distribution operations.
In this role, you will provide advanced technical support for warehouse systems, network infrastructure, endpoint devices, and business-critical applications across distribution, retail, and corporate environments. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, RF devices, and warehouse technology infrastructure that directly supports operational uptime and productivity.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, operationally focused, comfortable in warehouse environments, and capable of troubleshooting issues quickly with minimal supervision.
This role includes an on-call rotation one week (including weekends) per month for after-hours support and critical issue resolution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Warehouse & Distribution Technology Support
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for warehouse operations, distribution systems, and infrastructure environments.
- Troubleshoot and support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, handheld RF devices, barcode scanners, printers, and mobile warehouse hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues impacting warehouse productivity and uptime.
- Support warehouse automation technologies and operational systems used in supply chain and fulfillment environments.
Infrastructure & Network Support
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- Network switches
- Routers
- VLANs
- Low-voltage cabling
- Wireless networks
- Endpoint devices
- Participate in scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, infrastructure projects, and after-hours maintenance windows.
- Assist with server and network troubleshooting alongside the Infrastructure, Development, and Database teams.
- Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, SharePoint, and user account management.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Image, deploy, configure, and maintain:
- PCs and laptops
- Zebra and Android RF scanning devices
- Warehouse printers
- Thin clients
- Mobile devices and peripherals
- Maintain asset tracking documentation, deployment records, and technical procedures.
- Perform software installations, updates, and hardware replacements.
Operational & Technical Support
- Provide remote and onsite support for corporate offices, retail stores, and distribution center operations.
- Handle multiple support requests simultaneously while prioritizing business-critical issues.
- Respond to after-hours and emergency technical incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
- Execute ad hoc SQL queries and support scripting tasks using PowerShell, SQL, VB, or C++.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for infrastructure and support work.
- Mentor and train junior IT support technicians and team members.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience supporting IT operations in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with:
- WMS platforms
- ERP systems
- Windows environments
- Network infrastructure
- RF scanning devices
- Warehouse printers and mobile hardware
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment with minimal downtime tolerance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize urgent operational issues quickly.
Technical Knowledge
- Windows OS and MacOS support
- Active Directory and Windows domain environments
- Office 365 and SharePoint
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking
- VLANs, subnetting, switches, and routers
- Imaging and deployment tools
- Low-voltage cabling and physical infrastructure
- SQL queries and scripting (PowerShell, VB, C++, SQL)
- Help desk and ticketing systems such as Jira, Workfront, or ServiceDesk+
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and customer support skills
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor junior technicians
