GTI Energy is seeking a proactive and experienced Buyer II to support procurement operations at our Goodyear, AZ location. This mid-level role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of materials, components, and services required for production and operations. The Buyer II will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.

• Review and process purchase requisitions to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services in support of production and operations.
• Source suppliers, solicit quotes, and evaluate bids based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and conditions with vendors while maintaining positive relationships.
• Monitor order status, expedite late deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or quality.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and contract terms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
• Participate in supplier audits and evaluations.
• Use ERP (e.g., Epicor or similar) system to manage procurement activities and inventory data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred).
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar procurement certification.
