Production Planner

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8 am - 5 pm

Pay rate: $28-$30/hr

Duties:

• Participate in daily and weekly production meetings, providing updates on schedule adherence and highlighting risks to delivery timelines.

• Work closely with Procurement, Operations, and Inventory Control teams to adjust production schedules and resolve any planning conflicts.

• Analyze MRP data to create and release work orders, ensuring materials are available to support timely production.

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules that align with customer demand, lead times, and inventory targets.

• Monitor production performance and proactively adjust plans in response to material shortages, equipment breakdowns, labor constraints, or evolving customer needs.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, agility, and responsiveness to shifts in capacity or demand.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and generating production reports.
• Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, MRPeasy, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated success in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced team environments.
• Flexible and solution-focused, able to adapt quickly to changing production demands and resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
