Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must have strong capability in managing complex technology‑focused initiatives with the ability to make independent operational decisions as a major qualification for this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Leading strategic planning and execution for multiple technology‑focused projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Coordinating Program Increment (PI) planning, ART readiness activities, and cross‑team technical alignment discussions.

• Driving continuous improvement by championing Inspect & Adapt sessions and addressing process gaps that impact delivery quality.

• Overseeing risk management activities, conducting assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies across complex initiatives.

• Utilizing advanced project management tools to track progress, monitor metrics, and implement corrective actions when needed.

• Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across product, business, and delivery teams to maintain strategic direction and effective communication.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10+ years managing complex technology initiatives with multi‑team coordination in Agile/SAFe environments.

• Candidate must have proven capability to lead PI Planning/ART readiness, apply SDLC standards, and drive risk management with measurable delivery outcomes.

• Candidate must have strong stakeholder management skills with expertise in metrics‑driven execution (portfolio/ART/team metrics) and continuous improvement (Inspect & Adapt).

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
