This position requires constant vigilance and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies, helping to prevent accidents and injuries. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing facility rules and regulations while promoting a safe environment for all users. They also conduct regular safety checks and maintain cleanliness in and around the pool area. Ultimately, the Facility Lifeguard contributes to a positive and secure recreational experience for individuals and families.Minimum Qualifications:Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (ARC, Ellis, STARGuard) or ability to take and pass a lifeguard course.Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate lifeguarding skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working as a lifeguard in a recreational or community setting.Responsibilities:Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and patrons. Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary. Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
