Position Summary : The Public Space Attendant at River Sands RV Resort is primarily responsible to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the public areas of the RV Resort, including store, clubhouse, restrooms, laundry facilities, and other shared spaces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Creates a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring the RV Resort and vacation rental units are clean and cared for.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns.
• Cleans and sanitizes all resort buildings and common areas including bath houses, laundry facilities, clubhouse, offices, and store. This may include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, mopping, and washing all surfaces. Washes and maintains cleanliness of all windows throughout resort. Ensures water marks are removed from fixtures and mirrors. Reports any maintenance needs to the Manager on Duty for follow up.
• Launders and operates washing machines for industrial or household items. These may include blankets, linens, towels, and other soft goods as supplied in the resort vacation rentals and common areas.
• Empties waste cans and removes trash to designated disposal areas.
• Monitors cleanliness needs in all public spaces throughout the day. Including all public guest restrooms and shower areas.
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions including safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Exposure to cleaning chemicals is expected; therefore, proper safety precautions much be followed. Report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to manager.
• Sets up appropriate caution and safety signs to ensure safety of guests and guarantees their removal as needed.
• Ensures general resort appearance is well maintained and orderly.
• Assist in housekeeping functions: including stripping and cleaning when business needs arise.
• Responds to resort needs and works a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
