Representative I – Insurance Verification

Location: Onsite – 4755 S 44th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85040
Pay Rate: $15.05/hour

We are seeking for the Representative I – Insurance Verification position with CVS Health in Phoenix, AZ. This is an onsite role with potential to transition to remote work upon completion of training and demonstrated proficiency.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle inbound and outbound calls to process order requests, verify and re-verify insurance coverage , perform data entry , and provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound/outbound calls from members and prescribers
• Verify and re-verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients
• Research and resolve payment, order, or insurance-related issues
• Input and process orders using internal systems (Compass and LINKS)
• Perform data entry and coordinate delivery of medical supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond to inquiries efficiently
• Deliver excellent service in compliance with performance metrics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or call center
  (High call volume: ≥75 calls/day preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Excellent phone etiquette , empathy, and communication skills
• Strong data entry and math skills
• Healthcare, insurance, or medical terminology knowledge is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Onsite Training: ~1 month (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Work Schedule: Mon–Fri (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), with a Saturday rotation every 7 weeks
• Transition to Remote Possible: Hardwired internet required (min 25 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up)
  A screenshot of internet speed test must be included at the top of the resume
• Public transportation is nearby but not directly to the building – reliable transportation is required
