Multiple full-time contract positions are available across elementary, middle, and high schools, serving a variety of student needs. Whether you excel supporting students in grades 5–6, guiding young adults in transition programs (ages 18–22), or working with structured self-contained or resource classrooms, your skills will be valued and your work will truly make a difference.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Certificate, meeting Arizona Department of Education standards
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including resource, self-contained, and transition programs
• Comfortable collaborating with fellow educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to manage IEP development, meetings, and progress reporting

Role Details and Responsibilities:

• Full-time positions with 40-hour weeks (instructional contact and additional classroom-related duties)
• Elementary school schedules are 6.5 hours/day; middle and high schools 6.75 hours/day, with extra time for classroom prep, meetings, and documentation
• Openings include:
  • Connections (Grades 5–6)
  • Middle School Structured Self Contained
  • Middle School Resource (ELA)
  • High School Resource
  • Transition/Pathways self-contained for students ages 18–22 (caseload up to 15, mentorship from experienced teachers)
  • All grades Exceptional Learning School, Pathways program
• Develop and execute individualized education plans
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for all learners
