Application / Software Developer (PBM)

Drexi is seeking a skilled and motivated Application / Software Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of Drexi’s technology platform. This role plays a critical part in building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that support transparent pharmacy pricing, prescription access, and healthcare cost-containment solutions. Requirements

Essential Job Duties:

• Application Development

Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and backend applications supporting Drexi’s platform.

Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Build scalable APIs, services, and integrations with internal and external systems.

Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through best development practices.

• Maintenance & Optimization

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.

Refactor and enhance existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and quality.

• Collaboration & Support

Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to support releases and deployments.

Support integration with healthcare, PBM, and pricing data systems as needed.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing across teams.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Elixir, Java, .Net, C+ , Python, or similar.
• Experience with web frameworks (Thymeleaf, Javascript, Phoenix, or comparable technologies).
• Understanding of API development, RESTful services, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
