Assistant Banquet Manager (Event Set Up)
Qualifications: • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances. • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 lbs.). • Proficient in basic computer skills. • Previous experience in banquets preferred (full-service hotel). • Previous experience with Micros and Evention preferred. • Previous Payroll and/or Dimensions experience preferred. • Previous experience in banquet service, event coordination, or hospitality management is preferred. • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Knowledge of banquet operations, food and beverage service, and event management. • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoon and evenings including weekends & holidays.
