Desert Star Community School is a public Waldorf charter 15 minutes from Sedona. 150 students in grades K-8. We've been operating for over 20 years in the Verde Valley and our teachers stay for many years because the workload is sustainable and the support is real.
Job Description
Teach your grade through main lesson blocks. Meet Arizona standards and Waldorf developmental stages. Differentiate without the paperwork nightmare. Build culture and relationships. Planning time is protected.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree + 2 years teaching experience
-Arizona Highly Qualified status
-AZ fingerprint clearance
-Waldorf certification preferred; we provide training and funding for strong candidates without it
