Location: Sanctuary Recovery Centers - Women's House, Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Type: Full-Time | Overnight Shift

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic female Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our overnight team at the Women's House. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents during evening and overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night
• Conduct regular room checks and document observations accurately
• Support residents in crisis situations using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with Sanctuary policies
• Communicate effectively with day staff to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold Sanctuary's values of dignity, respect, and empowerment

Qualifications:

• Must be female (BFOQ - Bona Fide Occupational Qualification for gender-specific housing)
• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certification or coursework in behavioral health preferred
• Previous experience in a recovery, residential, or behavioral health setting required
• BHT Certified or 4 years of BHT experience
• CPR/First Aid certification
• CPI Certified
• Fingerprint clearance card
• TB Test
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-stress situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
