FAMILY CARE CONNECTIONS IS LOOKING FOR CARING, COMPASSIONATE INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

Come join our family. Help a person learn new skills, build self-confidence, and gain independence. Family Care Connections is seeking part-time caregivers to mentor children, teenagers, and adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities, We currently have clients in the Phoenix, Glendale, and West Valley areas. We are hiring for part-time positions, after-school hours, evenings, and weekends.

RESPITE: Hang out and socialize with a client in their home or in the community. Examples include going to the park or mall.

ATTENDANT CARE: Prepare meals, bathe, dress, and groom client as well as cleaning living area, laundry, etc.

HABILITATION: Mentor a person in their home or out in the community by teaching them social skills like how to order a meal at a local restaurant or purchase a movie ticket, safety skills like where to go when lost in a store, and health skills like how to brush your teeth.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

*18 years or older.

*Able to complete training requirements (CPR, First Aid, Article 9). Training is free.

*Reliable vehicle preferred, but not required.

*Teaching or tutoring experience preferred, but not required.

*Coursework in education, psychology, or social work is preferred, but not required.

GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS OR JUST EXTRA INCOME

Work with the developmentally disabled: Autism, Epilepsy, Cognitive Challenges, and Cerebral Palsy.
