Exercise Physiologist Full Time Days Position Summary The Exercise Physiologist plans, delivers and evaluates patient care to designated participants in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab program under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Manager and/or Director. The Exercise Physiologist works with team members to improve customer satisfaction and maximize results within the department and functions as a team leader and facilitator providing communications with other health team members in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department, as well as, performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
THE EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE. EDUCATION Minimum: Bachelor's Degree of Exercise Science. ACSM Exercise Test Technologist or ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist within one year of hire.
Preferred: Master's degree in Exercise Science
EXPERIENCE 1-2 years in Adult Exercise Physiology or strong Cardiopulmonary Internship.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION Bachelors in Exercise Science and Health& Motion
American Heart Association BLS Certification
ACLS within 6 months of hire
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Basic Computer Skills
