Golf Outside Service Attendant

Position Requirements:

The individual to be considered for the position of Outside Service Assistant must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Ability to work in a guest service environment where exceeding expectations is the norm.
• Ability to take direction, desire to learn, and communicate effectively.
• An understanding of the game of golf.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Exceed agreed upon goals and standards set forth by The Boulders Resort and Club. Create memories for our guests and members on a daily basis.

Essential Functions:

• Member/Guest relations, greeting and introducing guests to our facility, directing guests around our facility, meeting and exceeding the needs of our members and guests, providing consistent genuine and friendly hospitality.
• Outside service includes: staging carts, greeting guests, loading guests/members golf clubs and fulfilling guests needs at the completion of their round, cart washing, and range operations.
• Outside service operations include all daily duties of operating the outside service area. Some of the general duties will include providing and managing rental clubs, general cleaning and organizing of the outside service area, golf car storage areas. Work as a member of the cart washing staff on golf car preparation and managing the all club storage areas, preparing tournament set-up taking cues from Tournament Coordinator. Representing The Boulders in a professional manner at all times.
• The proper chain of command will be for the Outside Service Assistant to report to the Head Golf Professional. The O.S. Assistant will be expected to follow the procedure guidelines set forth by the management team. The O.S. Assistant will be expected to maintain their essential functions to standards set for by The Boulders Golf Club and carry out any reasonable requests by their immediate supervisor or any facility manager.
• The Cornerstones will be understood and demonstrated at all times.

Specific Functions of Position:

The specific functions listed below are the responsibility of each Outside Service Assistant in addition to the essential functions of the position.

• To create a positive and friendly environment for our members, guests and fellow associates.
• To promote teamwork throughout the facility.
• To maintain a look of organization and cleanliness throughout the outside service areas, golf car storage areas and associate desk and locker area consistently each day.
• To keep the level of involvement throughout the facility at an acceptable level as prescribed by management.
• Actively promote the game of golf and tournament preparations with our members and guests.
• Maintain the goals and direction prescribed by management.
• Involvement with facility projects.
• Share thoughts and ideas of how to improve the facility around you.
• Involvement with member clubs and playing golf with members.
• Represent self and facility with the professional standards set forth by The Boulders Golf Club.
• Carry out any reasonable request by management, which pertain to the golf operation.
