What will I be doing?

• Planning and executing die, color, and material changeovers—safely and efficiently.
• Setting up and fine‑tuning injection molding presses, tooling, and auxiliary equipment for production runs.
• Watching the process like a hawk to maintain cycle efficiency and consistent part quality.
• Diagnosing and correcting defects, deviations, and equipment malfunctions.
• Documenting parameters, adjustments, and results with accuracy.
• Using a forklift and/or overhead crane to pull, change, and set molds.
• Partnering with Engineering on new mold/material trials, machine testing, and process validation.
• Supporting continuous improvement and sustaining 5S standards.
• Applying knowledge of various plastic grades to meet customer requirements.
• Taking on other related tasks as needed.

What skills help me succeed?

• Mechanical aptitude with a solid grasp of injection molding.
• Strong communication—written and verbal.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Working knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, PRP, and HACCP for food-contact packaging (as applicable).
• Understanding of decoupled molding (a plus).

What are the minimum requirements?

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience level is flexible and may vary with your skill set and role level.

What certifications are needed?

• Forklift Certification (required; in‑house training provided).
• RJG training/certification (preferred).

What is the work environment like?

• Manufacturing setting that can be hot or cold; PPE is required at all times (safety glasses, ear protection, etc.).
• Lift and handle 45–55 pounds.
• Stand or sit as the work requires.
• Work in tight or confined spaces when necessary.
